Dr. Maren Stropahl
Dr. Maren Stropahl started her studies with a Bachelor of Engineering in hearing technology and audiology from the Jade Hochschule Oldenburg. After the bachelor she switched to the field of cognitive neuropsychology and obtained her master at the university of Oldenburg. As a PhD student she investigated the field of cognitive hearing, specifically the cross-modal brain plasticity related to hearing loss and after Cochlear Implantation under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Stefan Debener (Univ. of Oldenburg). After 1.5 years working as a freelancer for the hearing aid industry as well as in university projects, she started a full-term position in the research department of the hearing device manufacturer Sonova AG in Switzerland. In her current position as an “Audiological Service Delivery Specialist” she is an expert in the field of innovative approaches in audiological health care.
